Terms of Service
Last updated: June 28, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of PulseRepo. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you're using PulseRepo on behalf of an organization, you represent that you're authorized to bind it to these Terms.
1. Acceptance & eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you don't agree to these Terms, don't use the Service.
2. Accounts
You're responsible for the accuracy of your registration details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] of any unauthorized use. We may verify your email before enabling certain features.
3. The Service
PulseRepo reads the history of repositories you connect and produces plain-language questions and signals about process health. Access to your repositories is read-only; PulseRepo does not modify your code. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and may evolve; we may add, change, or remove features over time.
4. Your content & access
You retain all rights to your repositories and content. You grant PulseRepo a limited, non-exclusive license to access and process that content solely to provide the Service to you — for example, to analyze history and generate and cache derived signals. You represent that you have the rights and authorizations needed to connect each repository. You can revoke access from your provider at any time.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Connect repositories you aren't authorized to access;
- Use the Service to surveil, rank, or take adverse action against individuals — this runs counter to PulseRepo's purpose;
- Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Service or circumvent its limits or security;
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or sublicense the Service except as permitted by law;
- Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.
6. Third-party services & model keys
The Service integrates with third parties (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, Google, Microsoft, AI model providers, and a payment processor). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we're not responsible for them. If you provide your own model API key, you're responsible for its use and any charges the provider bills you.
7. Plans & billing
PulseRepo offers a free tier and may offer paid plans. Where paid plans apply: fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, are non-refundable except where required by law, and may change on notice. You can cancel to stop future renewals; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Taxes may apply. Beta or free features are provided "as is" and may change or end at any time.
8. Intellectual property
PulseRepo and its software, design, and content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service; they don't transfer any ownership to you. Open- source components remain governed by their respective licenses.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PulseRepo's output is a set of questions and signals to inform human judgment — not professional, legal, financial, or employment advice, and not a basis for evaluating or disciplining individuals. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results are complete or accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PulseRepo and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PulseRepo harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, to comply with law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity) will continue.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the operator of PulseRepo is established or resident, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and its courts will have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that, if you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you retain the mandatory protections of, and the right to bring proceedings under the law of, your own country of residence. Where required, we'll aim to resolve disputes informally first; email [email protected] and we'll try to sort it out directly.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
